i look exhausted blinded by something bigger than i disheveled
my surroundings have pulled away quickly in a worried case of vertigo here i am surrounded by cars that all belong to my ex love
each one black each one a huge insect with shimmering skin
each one a giant grimacing monster with butterflies in it's teeth
i feel so ashamed im standing in the parking lot surrounded by black cars wonder

i slip into the elementary bathroom/ dazed by the tiny sets of eyes that turn on me quietly, i hesitate. there's a sign taped to the wall. it says "no high school students allowed!" i stop entirely and consider leaving. my thoughts hover stupidly. the eyes [all shorter by inches but taller by miles] meet themselves in the wall mirror awkwardly and watch the distraction in reverse. i walk slowly to the handicapped stall, watching them watch me. my reflection is dark/ hollow, compared to their bright faces and small figures. i look and feel ill. they're all so little.

buggedfor a few days, every time we'd turn up the volume on our computer, the screen would emit this high pitched whistle. it sounded like a human-dog-whistle that buzzed in your ears and was sure to give you a headache. we looked all over. sometimes it sounded like we were bugged. we could hear ourselves talk through the computer's face. it reminded me of big brother. so one day, i was listening to michael andrews, and the screen started to whistle on this one high note. i tried to ignore it for a while, but it became louder and louder until it overpowered the music and it felt like my skull was cracking in two. so still thinking we webugged
